Our first in the field workshop of the 2017 season takes us to Copper Falls State Park, where the Bad River and Tyler Forks collide. We'll follow the journey of the water as it makes its way to Lake Superior, learning about the unique, geology, ecology, and cultural importance of this important place. Guided by Bad River elder and longtime educator Joe Rose with Northland College geology professor Tom Fitz. Paulette Moore and Northland College filmmaking students will be joining the trip to capture the story of this unique place.
